Terms of Service of MakerAI
These Terms of Service define the rules for using the MakerAI platform (makerai.pl), which enables the analysis of technical problems using AI and the matching of appropriate experts or solutions.
• Definitions
- Service - the MakerAI platform available at makerai.pl
- User - a person using the Service
- Expert - a person offering technical services
- Request - a description of a problem submitted by the User
- Profile embedding - embedding is a simplified numeric representation of text: the system converts your description into a set of numbers that capture the meaning of the content, to find the closest-matching themes in client requests, not only individual keywords; a fuller description is also in the Privacy Policy (section "Scope and Sources of Data")
• Expert — registration, data, and consents
By registering an Expert account or using an Expert profile on the platform, you enter into an agreement for electronic services with the Service operator and accept the Privacy Policy. In particular:
- you knowingly provide data necessary to operate your account and present your offering (detailed scope in the Privacy Policy); data are stored to perform that agreement and related features (matching, ratings, in-service communication)
- optional linking of GitHub uses that platform’s authorization mechanism — processing of public profile metadata follows from your initiative and the service contract
- you must not impersonate another person as the Expert; you are responsible for the accuracy of profile data
- you acknowledge that for matching to client requests a vector representation of your profile (profile embedding) may be created and stored; the definition and scope are set out in the Privacy Policy (section "Scope and Sources of Data")
Storing Expert data in the Service database after registration under an agreement does not constitute unlawful collection without the data subject’s knowledge, provided the data come from your registration and profile that you maintain.
• Suggested candidates (e.g. from GitHub) without a Service account
The Service may display suggested persons based on publicly available data (including the GitHub API) and an internal candidate index. With respect to those persons:
- MakerAI does not present them as employees or registered Experts unless they created an account; the information is a referral to public profiles
- the source of data is public material or data supplied by GitHub — legal bases and data-subject rights are described in the Privacy Policy
- use of the Service by a User does not automatically create a contract between MakerAI and the person shown on a candidate card
• Scope of Services
MakerAI enables:
- analysis of problems using AI
- classification of requests (e.g. type, complexity)
- matching experts or solutions
- contact between the User and an Expert
The Service acts as an informational and intermediary platform.
• No Guarantee of Results
MakerAI:
- does not guarantee the effectiveness of proposed solutions
- is not responsible for the actions of Experts
- is not a party to agreements concluded between the User and the Expert
• Use of AI
The User acknowledges that:
- their request may be analyzed by AI systems
- results may be inaccurate or incomplete
- AI supports decisions but does not replace them
• User Account
- use of basic features does not require registration
- an account may be required to contact an Expert
- the User is responsible for the accuracy of provided data
• User Obligations
The User agrees to:
- provide truthful information
- not submit illegal content
- not misuse the Service
• Liability
MakerAI is not liable for:
- decisions made based on AI analysis
- the quality of Expert services
- damages resulting from the use of the Service
• Intellectual Property
- the code, UI, and MakerAI system are protected by copyright law
- the User retains rights to their input data
• Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be updated.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
• Governing Law
